The gardening group took on a great little project in the community turfing a nice area of overgrown lawn.

After using the whipper snipper and lawn mower to cut back all the overgrown weeds and grass as seen in the pictures below. The boys started to dig up all the old lawn. Removing all the roots and weeds in the soil they turned the soil over and levelled it out.

After a few days of heavy rain, we finally got back in there and started laying the turf. It was a tremendous effort from the guys who all played a part in getting this lawn back to a beautiful scenic area that is now thriving and looking better than ever.
